Insurance Associations provide several services to their members, from continuing education and study courses to discounts on E&O insurance. Some organizations also lobby both state and federal government on behalf of the insurance industry and in the best interest of their membership.

Your insurance license is the first of many educational steps in your insurance career. Most states require continuing education courses, and insurance carriers may require annual courses to renewal your writing contract with them.
